On Nov. 9, 2023, AYJET Flight School signed an order for one Diamond Aircraft DA42 FNPT II flight simulator at the European Flight Training Event (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal.

This FSTD will be supplementing AYJET’s Diamond Aircraft fleet of 26 single engine DA20 (currently 18; eight will soon join) and five twin engine DA42 aircraft.

AYJET Flight School is an esteemed aviation institution established by a select group of highly experienced captain pilots who have amassed extensive years of service in both the Turkish Air Force and commercial airline companies, providing flight training to future pilots of Turkish Airlines, SunExpress, Pegasus Airlines and others.

The flight school, which has undertaken the management of Hezarfen Airport as of November 2020, continues its flight trainings actively at Tekirdağ Çorlu Atatürk Airport, Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport, Muğla-Dalaman Airport and Bursa Yenişehir Airport.

“We are glad to add a new one to our long-standing partnership with Diamond Aircraft, whose products are the main component of our fleet. I believe that this beautiful co-operation of ours will continue for many more years. I hope that the Diamond Aircraft DA42 FNPT II flight simulator will be of great benefit to our school,” said Celal Cingöz, general manager, AYJET Flight School.

“Diamond Aircraft is the only sole source provider in the flight training market. From single and multi-engine aircraft and the corresponding high-quality simulator to the proprietary jet fuel engine, the glass cockpit to pilot training and EASA Part-147 certified maintenance training in our own approved training organization,” said Jane Wang, sales director, Diamond Aircraft Austria.

“We are very proud to strengthen our long-term cooperation with our customer AYJET with this new order and wish them all the best for the future.”

Diamond Aircraft’s flight simulation devices are exact replicas of the real Diamond aircraft, built with authentic aircraft parts, with real avionics, high-end visuals and OEM flight dynamic models.

The instrument panel is fitted with the original Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite and standby instruments, allowing to train in a completely realistic environment.

Diamond simulators are at the cutting edge of the industry to ensure the most sophisticated simulation training in preparation for advanced flight training.

Delivery of Diamond Aircraft DA42 FNPT II is expected for 2024.
